Dave Neamand Pendant Raffle
Dave Neamand has created a one of a kind piece created exclusively for ChristyFest™ 2008!
The pendant Dave hand-crafted this year truly embodies our 2008 theme, "A Journey of Faith." Dave has worked this design in sterling silver - all of Dave's designs are all engraved freehand. His style of engraving is called triple bright cut, which means each engraving requires three cuts to reflect the light. No power machine engraving, stamping, or acid etching is used.
The pendant features many important elements of the Christy story and theme. The lower portion of the pendant portrays the start of Christy's journey and is represented by a hand-cut walking stick and Victorian scroll that is reminiscent of Asheville and her life before Cutter Gap. The words of this year’s theme, “A Journey of Faith,” are engraved within the path that winds to the top of the pendant. This upper portion portrays the outcome of her journey of faith represented by the mountains of Cutter Gap and the hand cut cross. It is a fantastic pendant, brilliant and shiny in the light with wonderful details.
On the back of the pendant "ChristyFest 08" is engraved.
There are additional lovely features to this piece - it may also be worn as a brooch! The chain is attached to a hollow tube which slips over the standard pin in the back of the pendant. Pin has a safety catch.
This year's sterling silver pendant is oval shaped and is two inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. Included with the pendant is a beautiful 20" sterling silver chain. The pendant and chain come in a black velvet drawstring pouch.
This gorgeous piece is a beautiful addition to any collection, and Dave Neamand pieces are highly sought after. Grab your chance to own it today!
