Sunday Sing

Campground United Methodist Church

Sunday morning attendees gathered at the church to share company and sing hymns. Joining their voices, all enjoyed the traditional hymns shared together. Led by Debbie R, attendee Pamela H also played her dulcimer for those gathered - it was a lovely start to the day.

Hike with Mike

Later in the afternoon attendees carpooled over to Tremont to walk the Tremont Trail, led by Mike Hickman. The warm day encouraged many to get into the water. A rainier season resulted in fuller, gently rushing water. Some dipped in toes, others their entire selves while all enjoyed the sights of the park and the cooling water. After a time, sodden attendees made their way out of the water and back to the trail. On the descent back to the cars the skies opened up and those who had not gone into the river were just as soaked as those that had. Back at the parking lot and despite the pouring rain, attendees laughed and said goodbye with a very memorable end to a wonderful Festival.
