The festival began in 1997 as a small gathering of fans sharing their love for the television show and has continued to grow. While Christy is still our legacy, ChristyFest™ participants have expanded their interests to such attractions as mountain crafts, herbal medicines, music, history and early mountain culture. ChristyFest™ events and presentations also feature nationally known experts in a variety of subjects of interest to Christy enthusiasts.

ChristyFest™ attendees come from all over and newcomers are always welcome. If you are new, we have a special little corner to get you started.
